An Illustrated Collection Inspired by Bali's Silent Guardians

BALI FACES & STORIES Is an ongoing illustrated collection inspired by the guardian figures that quietly watch over temples, beaches, family compounds and hidden corners across Bali. Created after countless walks through the island, the project celebrates these expressive stone faces that are often passed without a second glance, yet play an essential role in Balinese culture. Reimagined through bold graphic illustrations, the collection was conceived as the foundation of a lifestyle brand, extending beyond artwork into a range of thoughtfully designed textiles and objects—including apparel, travel journals, embroidered patches and accessories. The intention is to transform these fascinating, sometimes intimidating and unexpected faces into contemporary pieces that people can proudly wear, carry and collect, celebrating the richness of Balinese visual culture through design.
